We picked up the order so we could just go through the restaurant. Really nice atmosphere and a beautiful outdoor atrium. I wish we could have stayed. The pasta and sauce was so fresh and delicious. We got several meals from the pan and enjoyed each of them.
Winter Beer and I came here for a birthday dinner. We heard good things about the restaurant so, we decided to give it a go. When we entered the restaurant, it was pretty much empty and we were able to sit where we wanted. There was no hostess on staff so, we did have to wait a few minutes for our presence to be acknowledged. Our waiter was fun and entertaining when he did stop by to take our orders. However, the service was very non-existent because you had to flag someone down. Even though the place was very empty, no one came to check in on you and you were left to your own devices. WB ordered an old fashioned margherita with pepperoni $23) and loved it. It had the perfect amount of sauce, flavor, and grease. I ordered the plain old fashioned margherita $19) and found it to be flavorful and tasty. The sauce was a bit on the sweeter side but, I still found it to be yummy. We ordered a chicken parmigiana $22) to share and we thought the pasta was cooked to perfection. The flavor profile hit all the right notes and was delicious. I believe they used the same sauce in both the pizza and pasta. WB ordered three vodka and club and thought they were okay. I ordered a NY style cheesecake $8) and Chocolate Mouse cake $8). They were both tasty without being overly sweet. While the food was tasty, I felt like the prices were a bit high and the service to be lacking at times. However, if i am in the area and craving pizza, I would stop by.
We were looking for a real, authentic NYC slice and also a little class, and found it all at Patsy's. It was so interesting to read the history of Patsy's on the menu and discover that it's one of the oldest pizzeria's in NYC. Our server was Andrea and she was lovely. We had wine, pizza, pasta, dessert and coffee and all were delicious! We sat outside and they have put in extra effort to make that space unique and inviting. We loved our experience at Patsy's and would recommend to anyone!
It was okay. A few weeks ago I got the Chicken Piccata with Linguine, which was delicious. I went back today, 10/11, and it wasn't as good as the last time. The linguins was not buttery and lemon flavored. It tasted a little burned, and the chicken was Blande. To add, I waited patiently for pasta, but most Italian restaurants usually offer free bread while the customers wait, but not- I had to ask for it. Finally, I believe that staff need more customer service skills. The place was not too busy and they were unorganized with a few tables. Am I going back? Yes! I always give companies a chance to do better, and their dishes are good.
My mother and son went to this place on Monday 8/08/22, after their treatment. They loved eating and service. I'm going with her on Tuesday 8/09, a total disaster! Nobody welcomed us as soon as we got in. Finally, a male host or manager passed. He looked at us like we had two heads. My mother had a mask (after treatment). We pointed to the table and asked if we could sit there. The waitress brought our food and that was the end of her. When we were done, my mother had to lift her hand and a gesture with her hand with the request for a check. Left a bad taste. Not professional!
