Unfortunately the unattractive Trump Tower is dead center but other than that the views are spectacular. Inside this boutique style restaurant there are several art pieces to view. The customer service was nice, dining alone can be awkward sometimes depending on where you sit. I loved my corner table against the window over looking Columbus Circle and Central Park. I ordered the watermelon Gazpacho and Yucca Fries. Both were delicious and I highly recommended them. Perfect appetizer on a hot summer day. I ordered a pink grapefruit beverage that had a fancy name, expecting something special but it was only pink grapefruit sparkling water. It was refreshing just not what I thought I was getting. If you are visiting this area, especially the museum which I thoroughly enjoyed I would suggest popping in they had a lunch special that looked amazing and seemed to be a good deal. The menu is not extensive but has something for everyone. The desert menu looks delightful and I was fortunate enough to be able to taste a few things and the coconut Truffle is definitely a yes!
Welcoming, gorgeous views, delicious food. Always a perfect spot for a lunch. This we got lucky and were given a table at the window front which makes the entire experience priceless. The watermelon gazpacho was phenomenal, the chicken was good. Vegetables unfortunately well undercooked and the overall portion beyond what am able to eat. Service on the slow side, but very pleasant. Great place, solid 4 stars.
Food: So, so good. The salmon was perfectly soft and buttery. Pork chops are usually drier cuts of meat, but it was served on the bone and cooked until it was done but still juicy. The rigatoni with ricotta was soft, creamy, and still allowed the slight tartness of the tomato to shine through. Same with the roasted chicken crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Bread served before the meal was so so, but the mains were extremely well done. Service: Standard high end restaurant service. Our waiter was very nice, and the dishes came out at the perfect times. Nothing special, but right up to the standard! Atmosphere: It’s a very well decorated space relatively high up with great views. Nice lighting throughout. They have live music sometimes, but even when they don’t they play great jazz that sets the mood. Restaurant deco is unique and colorful also, it’s full of art! Overall, an amazing restaurant. Yes, it is a little on the pricier side (about $170 for 4 without apps, drinks, or dessert), but you’ll be hard pressed to find better mains with a skyline view with better quality for under $40 here in Manhattan. Toodaloo!
Went here for my birthday dinner. It was AMAZING!!! Such a good view of Central park and other side of NY in the distance. The food is also very good and the staff were incredibly nice. I spilled my drink and they allowed us to go sit on lounge chairs while we waited for a fresh table . The incredible view of Columbus circle is just irreplaceable.
What an amazing brunch to celebrate! The views were spectacular and the food absolutely delicious!!! highly recommend!!!
