Rosa Mexicano - First Avenue - New York

We've been here since 2000 every time we visit NYC. The food is notch. It's alive. The margaritas are the best you will find. If you go, just don't take my place!!

We were there half an hour and when we got our food, it was cold. We got pizza on the street. Total disappointment.

I love the Queso Fundido . The Guacamole is excellent although I prefer to spicier. The plantains with cream are a favorite of me. And the flute never disappoint. You can have several appetizers or a large dish like Tampiqueña Steak, and you will end happy. Nothing but ending with Churros. They're delicious. The only thing that could improve would be the margaritas, they are good, but expensive and they put too much ice on them.

They were great, it was cold, Valentines Day and busy...and we arrived early and were nicely accommodated. It was busy but for a New York holiday evening there were no true complaints.

Extremely overcrowded and the added tables were so small I couldn’t even move to eat on Valentine’s Day. Not at all what I expected, would not go again for Valentine’s Day.
