San Marzano Pasta Fresca - New York

Came with 10 people for piles, and the host was super nice and thought us in the loop if our table would be ready. Server was also very nice, although it definitely seemed very busy, but this has not changed our experience. We sat outside in the dining room and it was HOT with the heating, so we keep it for a few minutes, then turn it off. We all liked our food most of us seemed to get pasta instead of the brunch elements. Would definitely recommend and will probably come back to the future!

I was charged an authenticity of $140 and they tried to tell me that I had to pay

It felt like a scam - when I saw it online, it looked like it was a bit higher and when I saw that they had a Valentine's Day event, I thought it was nice. We get there and it is v e r y casual and looks like an after-work-changout spot, not a Valentine's Day. Then everyone was super confused on the prefix menus and what was or was not available. In the end, the $69 per person prefix was absolutely not worth, value or experience wise and then, because we did not order from the regular menu, we had taken a $30 autogratuity in the check. it is the same menu, legitimate only a single menu was presented all the time. I would have tipped when the waiter was alone and inexperienced, but $30 was too much. Personally, I will never go there again, especially if the manager can see that it is going bad and cannot be disturbed to check with any tables. If we had left and hadn't said anything about Valentine's Day, I wouldn't have spent the extra $80 because there was no special menu. it was a regular menu, and we ordered only $80 worth of food overall and go after paying 177 know that almost half of the review was bs charges definitely ruined my Valentine. Really would have just gone to BWW or Applebees, at least there would be a heart decoration on the property. Legit told everyone that I knew how excited I was for this date bc, how it looked online and it should be an “experience”. Anyway, went back and told everyone I knew I wouldn't go back for any occasions.

Great for a big group. You get to pick 3 app options and they bring you a few plates of each thing to share! I was under the impression that it would just be 1 of each.

Good value for the prix fixe but not great if you have a friend who doesn’t drink because everyone at the table has to do the same. Our server was very confusing and originally explained that our friend could do non prix fixe then came back and said again that we had to do the prix fixe. She also kept confusing our drink orders. Apps were great, probably best part of the meal, and flavors of pasta were nice but overly salty (some were downright inedible).
