Angelina was one of my favorite servers a long time ago, I haven't been here in a while so I'm not sure if she still works there or not. I'd say this is not a super family friendly place though if you have young kids just due to how busy it gets on weekends. If you do have young kids and want to come, do it during the week or come early
I thoroughly enjoyed my buffalo sampler platter and would definitely return again. The wings were huge and still juicy, the beef on weck was a normal sized sandwich even though it was considered mini and the fries were seasoned and crisp. We also tried the Reuben which was amazing, the mini also being a pretty average size, so the portions are quite large.
Decent food and solid prices on drinks. Great location and separation of bar and dining area allows for you to go for what you want it to be.
JP Fitzgerald's is a popular Irish themed pub and restaurant, but the menu is much more than traditional Irish and pub food. That said, I still went with a Reuben, which was excellent. I like the fact that they offer options for small and large reubens and other sandwiches. My appetite is not as voracious as it once was and I appreciate being able to finish everything on my plate! My wife enjoyed her Pasta Primavera, but did note that it was a bit dry, could have used more olive oil. The building is very large, with several seating areas. In many cases this leads to service problems with wait staff serving multiple rooms, but we didn't really have this problem at JP Fitzgeralds. They seem to have enough staff and they were very welcoming. Prices are very fair.
A solid spot to dine right in the Village of Hamburg! Met my mom a few of my cousins here for a lunch get together on a Sunday afternoon and this was the perfect place for us to catch up. The restaurant wasn't busy at all and the service was friendly. Each of us got something different from sandwiches to salads and even a reuben quesadilla. Definitely speaks to the versatility of the menu here! I opted for the souvlaki salad. The portion was huge, and for $15, I'd say it was more than reasonably priced. It came with toasted pita points and it was chock full of chicken and feta cheese. Wish it would've had red onions instead of white, but it was still delicious! I'm not in this area often, but I'd come back here if the opportunity arose. There's much to explore on their menu, and I'd say it's well worth it to try it out!
