Coffee service during the day, alcohol service for the night. Nice ambiance for a date, but not ideal location for parties over 4. Best for parties of 2.
They keep improving their menu and each dish is very good. Portion sizes are bigger from our last visit. Bulgogi sliders (new addition) and clam hot pot are my favorite.
I live a few blocks from Space Mabi and finally had a chance to check it out during their lunch hours. The restaurant was previously vacant for about 2 years and I'm happy to see a beautifully designed place which fits well in the neighborhood. The server recommended us that we should try korean tea and it was absolutely the best thing I had in terms of tea. It was called yulmoo tea and my friend had their orange tea. For lunch, we both ordered bibimbaps which were amazing. Bulgogi sliders were amazing too... great portion sizes. Good music, great service and place to hang out while catching up with friends and getting some work done. I will be back with friends.
Great authentic Korean food and attentive service. My girlfriend and I dined at this East Village restaurant a few days ago, and fell in love with the food, vibe and staff members. I don 't need to travel from wall street to go to koreatown anymore to get some bulgogi and authentic korean soup. I think they call it tang . My favorite dish was the pajeon which had lots of shrimps, eggs and scallions. My gf really liked the pork belly (super tender) and bulgogi sliders that we shared. I was told that the lunch service started about two weeks ago, and I want to come back to try their signature dish called hansang . The only downside was that they do not have hard liquor. They have korean soju which i was given as service but it 's not whiskey. I 'm also not sure about the mirror ball that goes around. I hope that they serve hard liquor in the future. Thanks for a great experience.
