Food was good, nothing special. Portions could've been a little bigger and service was OK our food took a while to come out
Sumela has great and authentic Mediterranean food with excellent service!
This place is my favorite new Turkish restaurant in the U.S. Tonight was the first time we tried this place with my wife and two friends. We all had a three course meal: lentil soup and babaganush first, the entree (adana), and dessert for everyone. I can?t say we were the ideal type of guests for a restaurant: we did not order at the same time, one of us would see the other?s order and want one herself. Not once the waiting stuff made us wait unnecessarily: they were veryresponsive, polite and fast. Everything we had was authentic Turkish food -just like you are having them in a good restaurant in Turkey-. You cannot say that for many Turkish restaurants around time. Lentil soup and Adanas were great. Idon?t really like Keskul myself but the waiter said it is really good, so I decided to give it a try. It knocked my socks off. Hats off to the chef. Finally we had two servings of Turkish tea, and they said the tea is complimentary. It is acustomary to do that in Turkey but you don?t see that in the U.S., so I would say this was a treat. We were 4 people who had three courses of meal and the check came around 150$. I?m definitely coming back.
Great food, and wonderful service. The chicken was amazing!
