I ordered the ackee and saltfish with rice and avocado, along with a warm calabash. It was all so delicious. My friend had the Nutella-filled French toast, which was also very tasty. Be sure to make reservations and arrive early as seating fills up quickly.
This was my first visit to this restaurant. My party of two took a leisurely walk after participating in the Percy Sutton 5k race in Harlem. We were promptly seated at our table. The food was delicious, with flavors bursting in every bite. I felt a sense of nostalgia as the restaurant reminded me of my Jamaican roots. The atmosphere was lively and energetic. The dishes, such as the plantains, salmon cakes, and homemade appetizers, brought back memories of meals shared with family. I look forward to coming back again.
First time at this restaurant. I ordered the wings, crab cake, pommes ruck shrimps alfredo to go. The fries were delicious. The jerk wings were good, and the sauce that came with them was a 10/10! I would definitely order them again. However, the crab cakes were disappointing. They were pretty cold and not what I was expecting. The pasta was good, I'd rate it a 5. The restaurant is on the smaller side, and navigating between tables can be a bit difficult due to the chairs and people crowding around.
One of my favorite little village restaurants. it is a cozy place with great drinks and delicious comfort food. the cod feeder is one must.
A great reason to visit Harlem?if you haven?t! The food at the Edge is really good. I thoroughly enjoyed the plantain crusted crab cakes and the hibiscus sorrel which wasn?t too sweet. The Sautéed Kale was rich with flavors and complimented my meal really well as a side. The staff are also very professional and sweet. You should also try the codfish fritters with the jerk lime dip. Yummmm! The meals also came quickly which was nice.
