Contribuisci feedbackThere was person working as bartender/server/chef. A little bizarre and made for quite an awful experience. In addition, the food was clearly frozen and not fully/ properly thawed and reheated. I won't be returning.
Positives: 1) Had a brunch resie for 4 people were seated promptly and allowed to sit before the last person arrived 2) Ordered the shrimp and grits and it was very tasty. Friends were also happy with the quality of their food 3) Hostess and staff were friendly 4) Nice decor and vibe in the restaurant; energy had a nice hum without being too loud Negatives: 1) It took a while before our server came over to greet us, fill our water glasses, etc 2) Server repeatedly passed by without stopping at our table to check that we were okay 3) We waited a long time to get our check, even after our plates were cleared and it was obvious that we were ready to go 4) We finally had to ask the server for the check 5) Despite lacking service, automatic 20% gratuity was added to the check. We would have tipped but 20% should not be automatic; 20% should be reserved for very good service
Service was terrible. Food was mediocre at best. It's a shame, used to be better.
I 'm not really sure what happened to this place. It used to be really popular and full. The night I visited, the restaurant was empty! So empty that I was tempted to leave but I felt bad. Poor ambiance. Just seemed like a boring, forgotten place which is too bad because the food and the service were still good. I guess this place is not hot anymore...
Sunday afternoon brunch. Restaurant had a nice ambiance, staff was friendly and food was good. Service was terrible and the restaurant was not crowded. Portions were small, no extras such as bread or muffins to start. If you don't drink it's not worth 30.00 egg omelette! Disappointed!
