The Penrose - New York

I wish we had come here a lot sooner! My husband and I were looking for a place to 'brunch ' and walked past this place. It was open so we went it....it was a great decision! I love the menu it 's small, which is helpful for narrowing down your choices. It 's a typical Brunch menu but they 're not trying to be pretentious about it. Everything looked great and I couldn 't decide between 3 dishes! I had the Chicken and Waffle(perfect size and generous! and my husband ordered the Chorizo Hash. WOW! It 's been a while since I 've been impressed by a restaurant and we are definitely adding The Penrose to our restaurant repertoire. The food was so good that I was so satisfied and honestly, I couldn 't find anything to complain about this place! The decor is very charming with a relaxed environment, the service was awesome! I recommend this place BIG TIME! Great food, awesome ambiance and great service! Keep it up!

Amazing food! We ordered avocado toast with poached egg, bacon and oyster burger and French toast sticks, everything was delicious. For drinks mimosa and beer, the staff was very friendly and the ambience was cozy.

Delicious brunch food and drinks in a casual dining space. I loved the decor and vibe. I tried the breakfast burrito and a **** Mary. The burrito was amazing.

Killer environment. Great service staff. Classy crowd. Food is on point. Drinks are even better.

My daughter and I visited The Penrose yesterday. The food and drinks were delicious. The only thing that was annoying me was my martini should not have been in a champagne glass. However my martini was great. Food wise the Buffalo brussel sprouts are a must have.
