I love this place! I went here for the first time last week and had so much fun that I came back with more friends on Thursday. the amount is usually 20s and 30s and a great place to meet people (everyone is talkative and friendly)! also john who works there is wonderful and ensures that the mood remains happy. it is definitiw a place to socialize at the weekend, so if they are looking for a quiet place to sit down and just lay low I would not recommend. but if they are in the mood to have fun and enjoy a social night – this is the definitiw of the place! we are surely back!

From a handful of bars we visited in the west village and meatpacking in the run of a Saturday evening, the Spanier definitiw was my favorite. I liked his smaller, cozy atmosphere. the high ceilings make the room seem very open and airy, although it is quite crowded. drinking were also great!

At the same time, from the otherside of the corner, a little young asian guy invite us to follow him, don't saying that he was your warker, so don't knowing him and respecting what bodyguard said us, we say NO ONLY NO When bodyguard after few seconds coming back out, he understood immediately the situation, but the young guy selector, in his moment of glory said you said no? You wait . We try to explane that it was a misunderstanding, but he only repeat this sentence. Also the very kind bodyguard tried to explane the situation to him, but he don't want accept us. It's a pity, because we spend good time to Spaniard pub the night before, and because this act surely we can't speak good about it. I know you are open from many here and in any case our opinion is not important, but counting that we drunk very well in a very good location, we can't forgot to count also what's happened tonight. Maybe this asian young worker was offended from our NO but after,hearing us, he could understand everything, because everything was clear about a simple and little misunderstanding. We don't know that someone from other corner could call us for entry, and if he do well his job,maybe, he have to explane also that he was your worker. He must know that education costumers are people that need respect, and that can't submit to his whims, also because maybe (no me,surely) they could be influnce people.
