Cool bar under Chelsea market. They have a good drink list, waiters were attentive, and the place has a nice ambiance. I would recommend it if you're in the area.

Deserves zero stars. The bouncers are extremely racist and did not let us in bc we were “intoxicated”, while casually letting in a bunch of white “hot” girls. I had been warned of this by a friend prior to me going there and was disappointed to have the same experience as then.Sad to see such places in the trendiest neighborhoods of New York City.

We were looking for a place to have a few pre-dinner drinks in the Meat Packing area, New York. This place was below street level with a great atmosphere, good music, service and drinks.

Absolutely horrendous. In 13 years of living in NYC, this bar earns the award of being the absolute worse bar I've ever visited in NYC. First of all, drinks are disgusting. And by that I mean undrinkable. A martini that tastes like garbage vodka with water and salt. Second, The Tippler features some of the rudest employees and customer service. Especially the bouncer/security. Simply put, they treat you like s**t. Absolutely unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and don't come visit this place.
