The Uptown Garrison - New York

I absolutely love the food at this restaurant; it's my favorite spot for dining in or ordering takeout. The dishes are consistently fantastic, and the waitstaff are incredibly friendly. Honestly, it's one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, and I really enjoy coming here.

The restaurant offers a gluten-free pizza option, but the dairy-free version is a cheeseless pizza. I opted for a burger instead, without a bun or cheese. While it wasn’t the most flavorful burger I’ve ever had, they did provide a generous portion of fries, so I left feeling satisfied. My wife and family tried the pizza and thought it was good, noting the unique options. It features a thin, crispy crust typical of Manhattan-style pizza. Our server was extremely friendly and managed our large family gathering well. I didn’t catch her name, but if you see a young woman with amber-colored eyes, you can expect great service from her.

The staff here is incredibly friendly, and it's a relaxed place to enjoy some delicious coffee along with pastries and breakfast items. It's also a fantastic spot to unwind in the evening with a cocktail!

This is one of my local bars. Service is good, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. You can either walk in or do reservations. Mornings they do coffee, pastries and breakfast bites. Afternoon, lunch/dinner, appetizers and happy hour. Their cocktails are decently priced, and good, I wish to have more variation but they do the work. The ambience is very nice and cute. Perfect for a solo visit, a date or simply hanging out.

My favorite restaurant/cafe in Washington Heights! Coffee: delicious coffee (had two oatmilk cappuccinos). And it's the first place in the city where you can get an artisan coffee for under $5. Food: The food was delicious. We had the chicken and waffles, and the organic sausage, egg sandwich on Brioche. Both delicious and very reasonably priced. Location: located in a lovely street on 181st off Cabrini Blvd. Its industrial modern inside with warm wood accents. Lovely place to enjoy brunch or any meal. Service: The service was super helpful, fast and very friendly. Overall, lovely experience and it will be one of my go to places.
