Vida Verde - New York

We had a wonderful dinner here. The location is excellent, and the food is delicious. They offered a variety of vegetarian options for us, and the drinks were impressively strong. We arrived before the dinner rush, but I would definitely recommend making a reservation.

The atmosphere was lively and energetic, making it a great place for a group of friends. The service was exceptional; our waiter provided excellent recommendations and insights. We enjoyed guacamole, a variety of tacos, and drinks. The margaritas were fantastic—especially the tamarind flavor! We tried carnitas, brisket, and fish tacos, and I particularly loved the brisket ones. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot!

My husband and I stopped by late one night, hoping to go to the rooftop bar only to find out it had closed earlier on in the night. So we sat at the bar instead. As a weekday, it wasn't very busy but we didn't receive very quick service, the bartenderalmost seemed like we were a nuisance. I ordered a quesadilla and my husband and I ordered the frozen drinks which were tasty.The decor was awesome and I'd go again to see the rooftop bar and maybe for one of the weekly deals but otherwise would probablyskip it.

We came to Vida Verde on a Saturday night and waited an hour for a table. We got drinks at the bar and enjoyed some margaritas. Nachos platter was delicious and street corn as well. Enchiladas were ok found the sauce too tart.

I genuinely don’t understand the negative reviews. My girlfriend and I arrived around 9:30 PM and were seated within half an hour. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the music was fantastic! The spicy margarita was genuinely spicy and absolutely awesome! At our table, we ordered the birria quesadillas, which were incredible, as well as the fish tacos and pork belly tacos. We also ordered guacamole, but I somehow forgot to take a picture of it. Everything was delicious, but the birria quesadillas were definitely the standout dish. I would absolutely return, and I’m eager to check out the upstairs area, which was reserved for a private party.
