Food is overall great, but a tad overpriced for the B+ execution. Some of the textures aren’t quite right; it feels like a couple of dishes had been sitting in the sauces for a few minutes too long and lost their snap. Khao Pad Pu is a highlight, and cocktails were better than average.

Finally I had a chance to try this one. I heard a lot of good things about Wayla. And boy, they didn’t disappoint me. Love the cozy vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant. Appetizer : Sang wa Kong was my favorite. It was a refreshing shrimp salad with a tangy and sweet sauce. Main course: Kua Kling Kung was kicked off the show. It’s very spicy and delicious making me feel like I’m in Thailand. Sen Chan Pad Lobster also very tasty. Normally I don’t eat Pad Thai because the rice noodles. However this one used a different kind pf noodles and it was so good. The favor and texture were amazing. Cocktail : the land of smile was so good. It’s easy to drink. If you like fresh and fruity cocktail this is the one Service was great.

Everyone was pleased with their selections. Great food, plentiful portions, cozy atmosphere, attentive service. Highly recommend !

Wayla is not only the top Thai restaurant on the Lower East Side, but also one of the best Thai restaurants we have ever visited in the city. The food was outstanding and the staff was extremely friendly. The owner was delightful and made us feel very welcomed. We highly recommend trying the BBQ ribs and the crab fried rice, as well as the mango mousse for dessert. We will definitely be coming back here frequently!

Wayla is my go-to underground spot for authentic and fresh Thai cuisine. The atmosphere is welcoming, with attentive staff and beautiful people all around. If you're lucky, you might even run into Stellar. Host Ken adds to the fun vibes of the place. Don't miss out on the Mango Mousse with sticky black rice. This is the perfect spot for a lively date night. The Winter Garden and intimate bar create a cozy setting to enjoy dishes like ribs, papaya salad, sliced beef, and chicken wings. When I'm craving Thai, Wayla is the only place that will satisfy my appetite. I'm already craving it now.
