Bondi Sushi - New York City

The sushi here is excellent; it always arrives quickly and tastes incredibly fresh.

The Yellowtail Jalapeño was prepared with pickled jalapeños.

I found bones in every piece of my salmon sushi. I would like a refund, please.

The sushi is quite pricey for what you get, but the staff are fantastic. Unfortunately, I discovered a live fly in my bowl just two bites in.

I ordered the eel served over rice, which came with a variety of vegetables. At $24, it felt quite pricey. While the dish was flavorful, it leaned towards being too salty. The portion of eel was quite small, with more vegetables than actual eel. One of the sides was marinated onions, which I didn't enjoy; they tasted like the kind you'd find on hot dogs. To be honest, I wouldn't go back. A small serving of eel on rice shouldn't cost $24.
