Coco Bistro - New York City

We had a birthday dinner here and the music was *chef's kiss* They played Amapiano the wholeeee time and I was in heaven. The food was decent and the drinks are strong. It's a cute place and has a nice vibe. I'd definitely recommend it. The firepit outside looks like it would create a nice atmosphere.

Super cute bistro. The interior is fabulous. The food was good and the owner/manager really makes the places. He's very witty, and brought a lot of good energy to our table.

Experience was alright! Chicken was bland but better with salt on it! Mac n cheese lobster was pretty good the lobster was a little fishy tho!! And the fries were great!! All in all a nice place to come for a little snack.

This place has a very nice ambiance and we were excited for French food. The young waitress was very nice and cleaned off a table for us and took our order right away. About 10 mins later our Escargot appetizers arrived. They were SEVERELY underseasoned. Not an ounce of salt. Im guessing they used unsalted butter. My friend and I hadn 't seen each other in months and were engrossed in our conversation when I noticed the table behind us had received their full order and we were still waiting. I had taken an IG video of my friend after the waitress took our order and in referring back to that video realized we 'd been waiting for 47 mins. In that entire time the waitress hadn 't checked on us once. I waited an additional 5 mins before deciding to go find her. She asked if I needed the rest room and I told her no, I needed my food . She came back to our table after checking with the kitchen to inform us that our meal had been delivered to the wrong table 30mins before. At that point we just wanted to leave. I asked for the check but then thought to myself at this point we 've been waiting an hour, The $12 app should be comped. The manager came out and tried to offer us dessert or drinks but we were starving and hadn 't eaten. The last thing we wanted were sweets. When I asked him to comp the apps he said they usually don 't do that and I told him I had no issue paying but thought that it could be done as a courtesy for the hassle. He walked away, came back and said that he would remove them from the bill but that now someone wasn 't going to get paid which wasn 't exactly fair after we ate and enjoyed the meal. That made me livid especially when the 6 measly pieces of Snail had no flavor and were no where near a meal . I told him that we actually did not enjoy the Escargot because they were tasteless and he proceeded to tell oh please, everybody loves them, I 'm not going to argue with you. You got your FREE MEAL and walked away. He was extremely rude and condescending. We were about to pay $100 for what I 'm sure would have been a subpar meal and he thinks that we were trying to get away with stealing $12 Escargot? Good costumer service would of automatically comped or ASKED what we would like for them to do out of courtesy. Absolutely disgusting service. This place is also dog friendly and the waiters pet the dogs. Not sure if they wash their hands after. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review about a place. This was probably one of my worst restaurant experiences. Giving it 2 stars because it really is an cute place and in a great location.

The staff here are so friendly. Definitely 5 star for the staff. They always seem short staff when we are here. The lobster Mac and French onion soup is good. The entrees are okay. Nothing to special here. Besides the people and some of the apps. The burger is plain. Chicken sandwich is not bad. Definitely fairly priced for the food. I would highly recommend trying here. People is great and the ambiance. The food is okay.
