Famous Original Ray's Pizza

This establishment was so fun, the guys here are way chill and the vibe is relaxed. The spaghetti plate was huge. Food was hot had a ton of flavor.

NY Slices and the garlic knots were very good. Located in a tourist heavy area, they are able to seat a fair amount of people. The air must have been out in the building because they had some portable machines in there. We were there after a late Yankees game and some bar hopping. Not crowded but was warm inside. Service was good. Smelled great in there. Took the food back to our room which was very close. Would definitely eat there again. We saw some pasta coming out of the oven that looked very good as well.

This is pizza done right New York style slices bigger than your head. The crew are fabulous, friendly and engaging. The pizza was awesome.

The speciality pizza is pretty good, but pepperoni and cheese is less than average. No free water cups. The original used to be next door, but they expanded to a larger space. Friendly workers, but don’t try to use the restroom without buying pizza. In my opinion this is overpriced tourist pizza. Nothing special about the food and by the slice is overpriced. The best pizza in NYC is on Cherry Street.
