Golden Forest - New York City

This will be my Fourth time in 8 years going to this Chinese restaurant for take out.. Great, fresh food everytime..Last two times I ordered chicken wings and fries online which were good. No complaints. These last 2 times I had the Orange Chicken which was cooked perfectly..not overcooked where the meat gets all dry and stringy in your mouth.I also ordered with my Orange Chicken pork Lo-mein which was absolutely delicious.The key to keeping a HAPPY Customer like me is to NEVER change the WAY the meal is cooked! Which this is what I have found at Golden Forest.. consistency...and always provide kind, friendly service which here at Golden Forest they are so courteous and professional.I wish this restaurant continued success.5 stars for me..Even my leftovers are great after microwaving ????Thanks guys!

The food was excellent and the service was just as good. They were accommodating and friendly. This is a cash only experience and well worth it. We had the Veggie Low Mein and Veggie fried rice and were very pleased. Would come back again if we're in the area

Ordered chicken wings and pork fried rice from Golden Forest and couldn't believe how tiny the wings were. Seriously, they looked like baby/mini wings. 1 normal wing. 3 baby wings. Felt totally ripped off for the price I paid. The rice was okay, but that couldn't save the meal. Can't recommend this place until they fix the portion sizes.

A dying breed one of the last true Chinese spots that does not cost an arm and a leg.If you know what I'm talking about, you know. There's been a purge recently and fast, cheap Chinese food spots are disappearing. I'm not going to pay $17 for a chef's combo sesame chicken, thank you.Golden Forest is hanging on and delivers the OG Chinese food experience you have been yearning for. It's exactly what you want from a place like this and it's fast.Delivery guy is very nice, too. Five stars, it's my go to spot.
