Liberty Bistro - New York City

This is one of the best spots for stunning and delicious cocktails. I absolutely love the French toast for weekend brunch. The rotisserie chicken is just okay, but the desserts—especially the opera cake and macaroons—are fantastic! Overall, I really enjoy this place. The views of Jersey City are unbeatable.

Nice French bistro in financial district area with the beautiful view. Place has busy energy, but you still can have good conversation with your companions. We had a lobster roll served with fresh salad which was very yummy and filling. Mostly, I will recommend that place for lunch or brunch as they didn’t have wide selection of food on the menu

Liberty Bistro was a recommendation from our daughter’s boss, and he did not steer us wrong. The outside seating is absolutely gorgeous! We had a spectacular view of the sunset and enjoyed live music while we dined. The baked camembert for two and the flash fried cauliflower were almost a meal by themselves. Our daughter is vegan, and they had no trouble accommodating selections for her. Our main courses were excellent, the desserts were divine, and the service was outstanding! We will definitely be back when we visit her in NY again.

This restaurant offers a fantastic view of the river and Jersey City! On nice days, you can sit outside and take in the scenery. They have a great selection of wines and spirits, and the food is delicious, with desserts that are equally delightful. It's a must-visit if you're looking to enjoy a beautiful view while sipping on a drink or having coffee. The staff is friendly and very professional.

While waiting for my new drink, I ventured to the restroom, where there were two single stalls and a six-minute wait. When my new drink arrived, I found that the wait for our appetizers was over an hour, even with a large group. I started with the TUNA TARTARE, which was exceptional—easily a five-star dish! It was the best I’ve had on the East Coast, with just the right flavor that left me wanting more. For my main course, I had the LOBSTER ROLL on a toasted bun with a petite salad. The lobster roll was generous and filled with tasty lobster, and the dressing on the salad added an amazing flavor. I finished with the LEMON TART, which was quite large and very sweet. I'm not a fan of sweets, so if you have a sweet tooth, this tart will definitely satisfy you. I also sampled my friend’s pasta, which I found quite disappointing compared to the other dishes. It lacked flavor and was not very hot, so I was relieved that I hadn’t ordered it. Overall, despite the hair in my drink, the wait time for food, and the restroom line, I had a fantastic dinner with breathtaking views. If you’re seeking a memorable dining experience, this is definitely the place to go!
