Very good small joint. I live near the place and decided to try it out one night for take out. I got the shrimp lo Leon and enjoyed it a lot. They were very quick to complete my order as well. Would recommend!
Not sure why the reviews are so average. This is a middle of the fairway, traditional Cantonese restaurant, maybe not as good as Chinatown but it's local and convenient. The staple dishes like beef with broccoli, lo mien, chow fun, roast pork noodle soups are solid. It's not going to change your life but it's going to get the job done.
Food was pricey (for the fact that it's take out/fast food) and did not taste good at all. The woman who took my order was also not helpful in explaining the different noodles they offer, but that they describe using Italian noodle names (angel hair, linguine, etc). When asking what an Asian noodle that is described as linguine meant, she asked why I had not ever eaten ethic food before...I told her I am ethnic, but I don't know what it means when you're trying to describe a Chinese noodle type as linguine. Weird place, seems trapped in time when Asian Americans had to cater to an audience that could only understand Italian noodle names?
Good for take out. Roast meat dishes are ok but their dumpling soups are just average. They really need to put some effort into their flavors.
