Authentic Italian sandwich shop! Loved the food and staff was very friendly!

Excellent sandwiches and well priced. The bread options are all good, although the semolina is a standout. Sandwiches can easily feed two. Do yourself a favor and come with friends so you can split multiple. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

I happened upon Pisillo's while walking back to my office from a meeting. This is an absolute gem in Flatiron/Chelsea I don't think there's a better sandwich in the neighborhood at any price (Including Eataly! First of all the ingredients are super high quality, cut to order, sliced thin and carefully prepared. Secondly, these are gigantic sandwiches. As long as my forearm! Each easily feeds 2 moderately hungry people. They also are great with special requests, like cutting in 1/4's and holding ingredients on 1/2's. Recommended, definitely show up hungry!

I has this sangwich 4 hours ago, yet I am still full of delicious salted olive-y tuna. Little did he know when he handed me the sub all Italian like, that his sub would be with me until evening.
