However, the pizza is just average. I’d prefer to go to a local pizzeria, like Uncle Mario's Brick Oven Pizza just a couple of blocks away, or Brooklyn Pizza in Edgewater, NJ, among others. In New York, pizza is a serious affair, with hundreds of pizzerias around, but only a handful are really good, like the ones I mentioned, and very few are exceptional.
There is a wide selection of items available, including salad, pasta, fish, and garlic bread. Since it was very busy when we went, the cheese pizza was freshly made. Although the seating is limited, the turnover is quick.
My all time favorite, Sbarro. A few blocks away from our place in Manhattan. With a buffet offer of 1lb of any pasta, salad, garlic bread, roasted beef or chicken or any cold appetizers for $7.99, you get a big meal.A real Italian taste until your last bite. Had baked ziti, spinach lasagna, garlic bread and some cold appetizer.A must try for pasta lovers.
Tried their buffet breakfast . Very American . The food was wholesome. Nothing special taste wise but good to try the various meats , veggies , waffles on display. All under 15$ per pax.
