Spiga To Go - New York City

This was an amazing discovery. My husband wanted to have some pasta before the marathon, and this is where we ended up. The minestrone soup and mixed salad for starters were delicious, while the fresh pasta was outstanding. The tiramisu was the best I've ever had, even better than what I've tasted in Italy. Plus, there was no corkage fee for our BYO wine! I can't recommend this place highly enough.

The best pasta around, especially the diavolo! The atmosphere is fantastic, mostly outdoor, making it perfect for summer evenings. It’s also BYO!

Both pasta dishes were delightful. The fettuccine bolognese was rich in flavor, while the squid ink linguini was a tad salty today. It's worth trying; there's good value here for the area.

Extremely delicious. Highly recommend the penne with tomato and mozzarella sauce (not officially on the menu). Perfectly al dente pasta, and bright/rich tomato sauce. It?s a dish you?ll be craving for weeks afterward.

Fantastic Italian Cafe, possibly the best in Manhattan. Their dishes are authentic yet unique. The owner and staff are attentive and proud of their offerings. Outside seating on a low key side street. Highly recommended. Local tip...bring your own wine.
