Subway - New York City

Good service, I?ve been a couple times later at night. When a customer in front of me was taking a long time, they gave me a free cookie for having to wait. I typically get the meatball marinara from subway because I?m not into traditional cold-cut subs, but I?ve had the spicy italian and it was good too. Can?t compare to any other shops that are local since I don?t eat sandwiches/subs often. Good enough for after midnight that?s for sure.

Disgusting practice. When they pass you the cup from the meal deal they monitor you as you fill it up. Once you filled your cup and go to the cup top stations they turn off the soda machine. No wonder the cashier was staring at me as I poured my drink. Patrons should not be punished if they are paying for the meal. No where in the store is stated that you can't have refills. I dont know if this is corporate practice or the franchise themselves especially a reasonableamount like just one extra refill. I can understand if a customer is abusing the machine to turn it off but punishing paying customers in this manner is disgraceful. I will be addressing my concerns higher up. Conveniently located on 14th St near Union Square, they offer the usual Subway Restaurant menu. This shop is tiny, so it's strictly useful for picking up something to go rather than being a comfortable place to dine in. The daily specials available at other Subway shops were not posted on 4/12/18 so you may do better at other locations if that's what you are looking for. You will get faster and better service if you avoid the peak lunchtime crowd.
