Subway - New York City

Small space with just a few sitting but good for a quick bite and is what they expect for a subway.

There was a sign hanging that proclaimed new thinly sliced Turkey and I thought how the hell could the meat get any skimpier!The gentleman started putting toppings on my sandwich before I spoke.Anyway, that was my experience.

One employee was great. The other employee doing toppings was speaking to a friend the whole time to the point I had to repeat multiple times what I wanted and of course he ended up messing up my order... it was just rude to carry on a conversation while ignoring paying customers, esp when there’s a line.

It's a small Subway. 2-3 tables. Only one cashier but that's reasonable because it's a small store and isn't always busy. Good for a quick bite. Their sandwiches are amazing and they'll make it just the way you want it, you just have to ask. Their soups are good as well.

This Subway on West Houston Street off Varick Street absolutely sucks! Prices here keep going up, up, up and they charge you tax as well. No opportunity to sit and eat here as its chairs and tables are stacked up by the store window. This store is a rogue Subway. Add to this is the reality that phone calls to this store result in no one answering the phone.
