Tacombi - New York City

The guacamole and esquites are fantastic! The tacos are quite authentic, although during my last visit, they were served cold. I also tried the piña colada, which was enjoyable! Overall, I appreciate the ambiance and the service. Food rating: 4/5.

I was really impressed by the service at this restaurant. I arrived right as they opened and was warmly welcomed by the host. My waiter was quick to assist and made an excellent recommendation for an agua fresca. The atmosphere was lively with upbeat music, but it wasn’t too loud. The tacos were absolutely delicious! I also had some enjoyable conversations with Daniel, who I think is one of the owners. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I will definitely return whenever I’m in Manhattan again.

Both my husband and I are from Mexico City and have been living in Texas for the past three years, and we haven't found anywhere as good as Tacombi, not even in Texas. We did suggest that they consider adding desserts to their menu; we have no doubt they would be just as wonderful as the rest of their offerings. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant; you'll leave feeling satisfied and eager to return soon!

We came here at night so the lights were lowered down and they had candles lit on the tables. We were quickly seated, wasn't too crowded and the food was delicious. The staff is attentive and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable but my only complaints were the music (I felt like someone just had the radio on, I was expecting maybe some actual Mexican music but it didn't ruin my experience) and the lack of alcoholic drinks (beer). Otherwise, I highly recommend this place and would come back again!

We dined at this restaurant for a quick lunch on our visit to ESB. The veggie taco with beans was the best taco we had there, we also tried the seared fish and the pork! The service was quick as they had now opened for lunch and was empty… my husband enjoyed the Mexican lager beer however!
