I love this place. eating is really excellent. burger is excellent. chicken sandwich is excellent. the mushroom and waffel bowl was underheated and the blueberry spiked limonade is much blue, too much curaçao. but I feel that this is bad performance at this taginwood farm is never disappointed if they do not live inwood, it is worth traveling when they live inwood, u should be a more regular
I've been coming to this place for seven years and I like it more every single day. The place is cozy and perfect for the sunset. The food is fresh and varied. If you want something very healthy just pick a salad or if you want to feel filled just go for the burger or the chicken or the stews. Whichever is your preference you won't be disappointed! The menu is of choice, well prepared, and the ingredients are fresh and delicious. At times you hear a band or just someone coming to play the piano it s just feels very much like home, sweet home. I would recommend to walk in the garden facing the restaurant or the park just next to it ... Totally different vibes that busy and over expensive restaurants with loud music that you will too often find in the neighborhood or Manhattan! A very nice place for real talks with friends wherever they come from. And the staff is also super nice just so you know. Enjoy!
I've been coming to this place for two years, and it literally never fails. Coffee? Strong, and generous pour. One of the baristas literally tiptoed over to my table to ensure he didn't spill a drop from a nearly overflowed mug. And it was a huge large sized mug, even though I paid for a medium . Food? Slightly pricey but notice I didn't take off any stars! You get what you pay for, and the food here is wonderful. I ordered a SIDE of truffle fries was 12 but the plate it came out on was more like an entree. Oh, and bottomless mimosas during brunch are always fabulous a heavy pour as me and my bf were pleasantly tipsy after only a couple mimosas. Usually places water it down, but not this place! I want to add one more thing! Christine oh my she is a godsend. If you have the pleasure of being served by her, you're in for a treat. I had such a weird experience with my bank, they had to cancel my card and send me a new one. I was still able to use Zelle and Venmo, but I did not have a physical debit card. I wanted to buy drinks, but I didn't have cash! I explained this to Christine, and she was kind enough to put it on HER OWN CARD, as long as I sent it back on Zelle. I couldn't believe it, that was so nice of her! Friendly, attentive staff, great ambiance with a rustic decor, oh and a live jazz band on Saturdays!
Wow! This place is unexpectedly amazing! I'm surprised it doesn't have a 4.5 5 star rating. My fiancé and I moved from LA to NYC to spend some time with my parents and have been struggling to find great eats in the food desert that is upper Manhattan. While I love Dominican food, there's a cap on how much of it one can eat. We came here for the first time last week and had the fried artichoke hearts, the Cobb salad with chicken , the cheeseburger and truffle fries. Every single item was top notch. We have traveled the world and eaten at Michelin star restaurants, fine dining restaurants, very well regarded restaurants etc and this place is absolutely amazing, not just for the heights inwood, but in general. We returned yesterday and ordered: the watermelon feta salad, the Brussels sprouts, fried chicken sandwich and pulled pork sandwich. Again everything was delicious and perfectly cooked presented. It was so good that I decided to order a to go order for my mom to try the watermelon salad and the Cuban sandwich. She loved it as well. My fiancé also adores craft beer and was happy with the selection which apparently are all highly rated beers. In short, please go here, you will not be disappointed! And I'll surely be back to try other options.
Location is perfect. Coffee drinks and pastries were good. We planned to have a full meal but it was just too busy and they didn’t seem to have enough staff, and I get impatient with that kind of thing. Look forward to going back for another try and sit down
