Third Rail Coffee - New York City

The barista took our order but kindly informed us that they would be closing soon. That was perfectly okay since we opted for an espresso and a cortado—drinks we wouldn't linger over. Plus, we had other destinations to visit. However, the ambiance reminded me of the coffee shops where I used to relax with a book over a cup of coffee. I could easily spend some time here and feel quite content. The coffee was enjoyable—not nearly as intense as the espressos from the 80s and 90s, which was a pleasant surprise.

Great coffee and friendly staff! This cafe is the nearest spot to Pop Up Bagels, but keep in mind that you can't eat your bagels inside (as shown in the picture).

This is one of my favorite places to grab coffee downtown. They take their coffee seriously in every way. The service is quick and efficient, and I've never been disappointed.

I went here last week and the coffee was great. Baristas were incredibly kind and the environment was very welcoming.

I was sitting down enjoying my flat white when I noticed not one, but two MICE under the seating area from across the cafe. I left immediately and threw out my drink. I will not be coming back here anytime soon
