Tried a trifecta of food on a whim: -3 pieces of egyptian falafel with aswani chili sauce -koshari (egypt's national dish) -classic falafel sandwich Had to try thenational dish, but it was overall just to bland for me, even with the chili sauce. The falafel was okay, but nothing above andbeyond any other falafel sandwich I can find. If I'm back in Nolita, I'd prob give this place another try with the hawawshi, but it probably won't be soon.
Would recommend this! I was so surprised by how cheap it was and the food was excellent! The spices were impeccable and the meat was so tender. I even ordered some for the next day and had it cold and it was still so yummy. Can't wait to eat thisagain! There are bathrooms at this location along with tap water
Was looking for a quick bite and their falafel is just amazing! Loved the vibe of the restaurant as well. I'll definitely be back to try out more from their menu!
The taste was exceptional, featuring a crispy exterior and a flavorful, moist interior. The balance of mild and zesty flavors was perfect. highly recommend trying this falafel.
Lamb panini with tahini spread was a light but filling sandwich. Ate half and had the second half later as a snack. The service was friendly and accommodating. If you're not familiar with the ingredients, ask the staff, and they'll explain it to you. The seasoning they use are a blend it's not just salt and pepper. This is a cultural experience for your taste buds! The space has seating available. Several guests were taking time to enjoy the food and conversation. The ceiling lights were very artistic and added an energetic vibe. The fast pace of New York is known, Zooba captured the energy but let's you take a moment to step out of it and be an observer.Wheelchair accessibility: No, there are steps into the restaurant. So, this would be a creative challenge.
