Locals Cafe - New Zealand

This is one of the busiest cafes in New Plymouth. The menu offers a good variety and prices are reasonable. Despite the crowds, we had to ask for someone to clean our table. Our used dishes were taken away promptly, but we had to remind the staff to clean the table itself. The cutlery we received was not completely clean, but was quickly replaced when we requested it. The service staff were friendly and attentive. It appeared to be an all-female team running the cafe that day, and they did a great job. The food was tasty and portion sizes were good. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the cafe, which had plenty of seating available in two indoor and two outdoor areas.

Stopped in at 2pm on a monday and got a burger and milkshake. Food and drink was quick to arrive and tasty. Nice atmosphere.

Great venue. Went here for a brunch with family was a great venue, staff were polite and professional and the food was amazing. Also, had a kids play area which our 1 year old loved. Made us as parents relax and engage in conversation with other adults.

This restaurant is fantastic. It's a hidden gem in the neighborhood. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. They have a great variety of options in their cabinet and menu. It can get busy, but they handle it well.

Nice local place, space inside and outside, great choice. Took away a cheese scone which was well presented and well packed, good job.
