Caffe Gelato - Newark

My delivery driver informed me when they got there the restaurant hadn’t even started making my order. Waited almost 90 minutes from the time I ordered til it arrived !!!………………………………………………………………………………………………….

Food in Gelato is not as good as before, even with high prices. What's going on? Service was excellent though; Jose is always attentive and courteous. He was so good that we didn't want to complain about the food. Our guest ordered the Potato Mortadella, he ate just two slices and left all the crust. The other order with salmon was too fishy ... It will take a while to go back. Too bad, it was one of our favourite restaurants in Newark.

Family weekend so we expected the restaurant to be very busy. The food was fantastic and the service was very good. Would've given 5 stars but our server had never worked brunch so was extremely unfamiliar with the dishes and what they came with. But a great restaurant!

We made our reservation online about 45 minutes before the scheduled time. We had no idea it was Parent Family Weekend at U of D! The town was packed. They didn't have our reservation on their list, since we had just made it, but they still got us in fairly quickly. The service was great. We sat outside on the patio for the first time. It was nice. They were able to accomadate my dietary needs with some changes. Overall it was really good!

It was our anniversary dinner. We had excellent server who was very attentive, Both our entrees were very good and the house-made dessert was delicious. We started with salads n cocktails. We also enjoyed the complimentary bread and olive Oil
