China City - Newark-on-Trent

Ordered for collection in shop.Definitely not the worst chinese I've had. Service was good and around 15mins wait on Saturday night. Egg fried rice was nice and well seasoned. Black bean sauce a bit thin but nicely seasoned, with black beans in. Down side was vegetable spring rolls had a weird musty flavour and couldn't eat them. Rest of Food was good though and enjoyed it. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options not great, vegetables in various sauces, no tofu.

Got my families order completely wrong and food was cold and vile, not to mention the lady on the phone had no idea what she was doing. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I would not order from here again. The delivery guy was lovely, although the food looked and tasted as if it had been warmed up from earlier in the day. Noodles were bland, beef mushy and chips were old, cold and hard. sorry guys, no vote from me. Food: 2

Well deserved 5* I've recently moved from Essex and no hate but I can never find any takeaway I like in Newark but this chinese is BANGING! 10/10 on everything Food: 5 Service: 5
