Au Bon Pain - Newark

The vegetable soup was very good! However, the classic tuna on croissant was a bad combination. The dry tuna made it the worst sandwich I have ever had.

I had a delicious south-west chicken salad for lunch that was so good, I ended up ordering another one for dinner.

I was disappointed with my experience at Au Bon Pain in Christiana Care Hospital. There was very limited selection available when I visited, and what I chose was not good and overpriced. Additionally, the service was poor and I had to search for a staff member to assist me.

I used to eat here years ago in Midtown New York. The sandwiches and cookies were fresh and delicious. While bringing my mom to Christiana hospital in DE for an appointment I saw that they had au bon pain in there. I purchased the bacon chicken avocado sandwich. I got raw bacon 4 little pieces of chicken and a bunch of avocado for 8 dollars. This place is nothing like it used to be years ago. I won’t be purchasing anything from here in the future. ??

On my recent visit to the hospital I found this place clean and vibrant with very nice baked items, along with tasty sandwiches, soups and salads. Even though it's not well staffed the employees and the managers work hard to accommodate well and the speed of service is very reasonable. I enjoyed my visit here and I will be back with my family.
