Plus it even has a parking lot, which, those in Newark know, parking can often be a hassle. The coffee is always fresh and delicious here, understandably so! The baked goods are the highlight. They have a self-serve section with a variety of fresh breads and rolls. In the glass case, they have typical pastries such as quindim (pronounced keen-jeen an egg yolk and coconut custard, pao de mel (honey bread , rosca de coco (coconut bread , and brigadeiros, beijinhos, bomboms, and more. Their lunch menu consists of burgers, panquecas (savory crepes! , sandwiches, salads, wraps, and even Brazilian pizza. Don't forget about the pao de queijo and salgados (salty snacks such as coxinhas (chicken croquette , pasteis (fried pastries similar to empanadas , kibbehs, etc!
Ordered a birthday cake and it was delicious. Very moist, the brigadeiro filling was decadent, the icing wasn’t too sweet, my child loved it! We also ordered savory pastries and they were fresh, and well seasoned.
This was our first time here, and we felt at our Brazilian home in this place. Great quality food, and good service. Great prices as well. If you want to feel what looks like to be in a real Brazilian bakery, this is your place!!! Order the “pão com manteiga” with added “requeijão na saída”, or “pão com queijo quente”.
This is a brazilian bakery excelent products, there is no doubt. I didnt give a firve because they have to work in making better something: their service. Not all of them. I have to actually congratulate someone (it seems that he works the night shift) because they have a good waiter, I don't know his name, but he is really good with the coffee making. You want to taste a good coffee, the famous brazilian galão, which not other thing than expresso shot with hot milk, awesome. This is the place, left aside their service (remember not all of them). I really like their pão de queijo (cheesy bread) or their bread with guava and cheese (yummy). It is a good place for you to sit down with a friend to have a chat and coffee. Next time I will take pictures but you really have to go and give it a try. Just overlook their service. The place is very clean.
Their hot chocolate its so good, just like anything else to be honest.
