Domino's Pizza - Newark

My experience working at this Domino's in Delaware has been the best I've had. I truly believe this is the best Domino's team in the state. My coworkers were very experienced and rarely made mistakes; I can only recall two instances where we mixed up orders, and both times there were understandable reasons for it. The team, especially the management, works incredibly long hours for less than minimum wage due to high taxes, with many people clocking in around 70 hours a week. Yet, they manage to keep the store clean and maintain good morale. The people here are great—everyone is respectful, polite, pleasant, and helpful. The delivery areas are likely the best in the state, but the heavy traffic can be exhausting and sometimes dangerous, especially when delivering until 1 AM. If you’re working at night, it’s a good idea to bring a flashlight since some homes don’t have their lights on, making it tricky to find the house numbers. While it’s true that customers often don’t have the full picture, I didn’t encounter any rude or disrespectful customers during my time at this particular Domino's. In this challenging economic climate, where many are choosing unemployment, Domino's is in need of help. I was even given the flexibility to set my own hours! If you're looking for a fun work experience, I highly recommend applying to this specific Domino's.

The following day, I called back to place my order, and not only did I receive the free pizza, but the manager also delivered garlic bread twists and a 2-liter soda, along with plates, napkins, and cups! He was extremely apologetic and expressed his gratitude for our business. This was an outstanding customer service experience that exceeded my expectations! I especially appreciated how this gesture made my special needs daughter, who loves pizza, very happy that night. Thank you!

The service here is exceptional, and the food is served hot and delicious. The customer service is fantastic!

We ordered pizza while we waited for our meal, and I must say, the restaurant has a great setup for kids. They have a special viewing area with Plexiglas where children can watch the pizza being made. There are also a few seating options while you wait. The staff was friendly and efficient, and we didn't have to wait long for our dinner—about 15 minutes around 6:00 PM. The large pizza with three toppings was a great deal at $7.99. We’ll definitely be back!
