The place looked a bit run down but the sandwich was epic so I wasn't bothered by it. I can't speak for anything else in the menu but that Korean beef sandwich was amazing. I'm so sad that I'm just passing through because I might not ever get to have one again.
After Huong Lan in Milpitas closed this July, I decided to check out the Newark location. Ordered two #1 Banh Mi Thit, looked inside and saw American Ham cold cuts added to the hoghead cheese and pate. I was confused, is this a vietnamese sandwich? or a hybrid??? Typical vietnamese tactic to save on operating cost. Cheapen out on materials at the expense of authenticity and quality. Very disappointing experience!!!
Took about 20 minutes for three banh mi sandwiches for to go.
I got sugarcane juice, wheat flour, green bean coconut sugar Parking: Parking lot
They've lowered their prices a bit. Sandwiches are still good and they serve a bowl of clear broth with the sandwich. A Vietnamese version of the soup and sandwich
