Jade Palace - Newark

We had a great experience at the restaurant, enjoying both the food and service. We made our reservation online, and upon arrival, we were seated promptly. Our server was friendly and attentive. The menus were particularly impressive, crafted from leather, which added a nice touch to the dining experience.

I stopped by this restaurant craving some soup and was warmly welcomed by what I assume was the owner. He was very pleasant and inquired about my day and how he could assist me. I ordered the war wonton soup along with fried wontons, which cost $14 in total. I thought that was a great deal since the soup was enormous and came with at least 15 large fried wontons. The soup was flavorful and generous, loaded with plenty of meat and shrimp wontons. The fried wontons were perfectly cooked and came with a substantial portion of dipping sauce. To my surprise, the owner also included a tea bag, soy sauce, and fortune cookies without me even asking. I would definitely return to this place again.

There's no MSG here! Each dish I tried had its unique flavor and style. I ordered takeout, and everything was still hot when I got home. This is the only place I've found that adds vegetables to their chicken chow fun—so delicious! Special thanks to Susan from "No Green Onions." I ordered food from here last Sunday and the owner was so freaking nice. He was so pleasant to interact and conversate with. Took good care of my food and it was delicious. My only suggestion is the sweet and sour chicken could use more flavor lol. Over than that amazing!

I have been a customer for at least 20 years, probably more. The food is consistently good! They are the only restraint I have found in the area to offer a choice of crispy or pan fried noodles for the chow mien. I grew up across the bay on crispy noodle chow mien so I was very happy to find Jade Palace. The staff is always friendly and efficient. If you dine in, they remember you when you next visit. I love the food.
