Pho Saigon Noodle Grill - Newark

Where's the Meat!?! I used to visit this restaurant often when I lived nearby and loved their pho, bun, banh mi, and spring rolls. Recently, I was in the area and was excited to come back for lunch. However, I was disappointed to find that the meal was far from hearty, especially considering the price—$9.33 for a sandwich! My banh mi was made with stale bread—hard and dry—and worst of all, there was barely any pork in it. I was so let down! Take a look for yourself...

The pho and grilled pork banh mi are absolutely fantastic! This place is very underrated and deserves much more recognition. Food: 5/5.

I've only ever been here for pho tai, maybe a spring roll on an odd dayGenerally speaking, pretty decent for a pho spot. Good aroma, subtle depth, and always a plus that the beef slices will come out with a bit of pink (if you're into the bite)Shop is clean and service is a out as you'd expect from a pho spot, good enough.
