Sabor Latino - Newark

I've visited this restaurant multiple times. When it's not busy, the service is decent; however, during peak times, the staff can overlook you for quite a while, which feels rude. My husband and I experienced this on our last visit, and we decided to leave. I’m giving it 4 stars because the food is really good.

The male waitstaff provided friendly service, although the same couldn't be said for the others. My order was accurate, and the food was quite flavorful. They actually include a decent amount of liquor in their drinks. Just keep in mind that you’ll be paying New York City prices, and parking can be a significant challenge!

This is a casual spot that offers some of the best Ecuadorian food in the NJ area. The staff is friendly, and the empanadas are incredible.
