Blue Crab Grill - Newark

The food was mediocre, we were only able to get branch or sandwich or salad. We went on a Sunday afternoon very few people were in there until 2pm when it turned in to a bar! Noisy band blared in your ear. I think they forgot it was Sunday and not Saturday night. We were there with friends and small children, we were not able to hear ourselves talk. The waitress was very polite but it was way over priced.

First time at Blue Crab Grill and it did not disappoint. The drinks and food were excellent. Our server was lovely, accommodating and personable. We forgot a set of keys and she checked to see if we came in o.n a reservation and called us immediately to let us l Le our keys were there. Above and beyond! We will be back for sure!

We always have a wonderful meal whenever we visit; it's our go-to spot for celebrations!

Don't be fooled by the vintage exterior! This place is the BEST SEAFOOD SPOT in Delaware! My son had the chicken tenders, and they were a solid 9/10—fresh and made in-house. I ordered the jumbo lump crab imperial, and it was so delicious that I had to get some to take home; I’d rate it an 11/10! If you like your crab with Old Bay, be sure to bring your own, but honestly, I don’t think it needs it! My partner had the ribs and fried shrimp, both absolutely delicious! The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was top-notch! There’s even a live band on Sundays! You definitely need to try this place!
