Steelhorse Smokehouse - Newberry

We enjoyed our meal so much that we forgot to take pictures! The food was exceptional, with excellent quality and presentation. We started with the deviled eggs for an appetizer, followed by the pulled pork and brisket plate for our main course. The side dishes were also fantastic on their own. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. With a great atmosphere and amazing food, you should definitely add this place to your must-visit list!

What an unforgettable experience! My family and I (over 20 people) had dinner here before starting our family history tour in Prosperity, SC. Sebrina was amazing! She ensured we had everything we needed and took excellent care of us. The rest of the restaurant staff was also impressive! Our food was served quickly and hot. We tried a variety of dishes, from pulled pork and brisket to half a chicken, and everything was fantastic! I highly recommend this place if you're passing through!

Delicious BBQ at this local restaurant. We are new to the area and were so excited to find this place. Sabrina was an amazing server, so quick with service and so congenial. The place wasn't crowded on a Wednesday night, and she spent a few minutestalking to us. This is local hospitality that we very much appreciated as we'd just moved here. I'd read reviews of thisrestaurant and the food matched up to them. The chicken was moist and flavorful. We loved the tangy, red and spicy BBQ sauce. Myhusband really liked the brisket. The fries were to die for. So crispy and light. He loved the coleslaw, which is specially madeand has a bit of pineapple in it! We went back a second time and got their special of the smoked salmon and it was amazing.Also, the half rack of ribs that my husband got was huge and he said very moist and tender. The meals and drinks were veryaffordable. A must go to!

Hurry and exit off Hwy 26 and eat here. Great barbecue ribs and ice cold beverages. Smokehouse devil eggs are awesome.

I didn’t manage to snap a photo of my meal before diving in because it was just too delicious to resist. I hardly took a breath while I devoured my food! The brisket was incredibly tender, the poutine was fantastic, and the collard greens were perfect. But the potato salad? Absolutely out of this world! The BBQ sauce was amazing as well. This place is definitely a must-visit, and I can’t wait to return!
