Chose el Sabio having eaten here before, I wasn't let down, excellent food, excellent service, thoroughly enjoyable.
Took my girlfriend here for a chilled out Valentines meal. It 's quite difficult to find (it 's set back from the high street look for the sign out on the road! but the building itself is lovely. We got a bottle of their 'special ' red for £18 which was very nice indeed and went perfectly with all the food. The tapas (3 portions each works well was delicious and varied. The service is a little bit 'distant ' but for me that 's not a big issue they just let you enjoy your meal and do the basics well enough. Atmosphere in this place is great lots of people enjoying good food without any pretence or stuffiness. I 'd definitely go back. We had a lovely evening.
Good food at a reasonable site, some vriants to the usual tapas offerings.
We wanted a light tasty lunch on our way to a nearby hotel for the New Year. At great value we ordered three dishes for about £9 from a good choice of tapas. No sooner than we had ordered, lovely fresh warm bread and olive oil arrived. Next came the tortilla, vegetable paella and spicy meatballs all piping hot and delicious. The restaurant seemed popular with families and staff were friendly and efficient. Overall a lovely start to our New Year break.
