The Ibex Inn - Newbury

This restaurant is outstanding. The staff is very friendly without being intrusive. The menu is small but offers something for everyone. The food is delicious: well-prepared with quality ingredients. The portions are generous, and the desserts are fantastic. The pesto linguine was exceptional, and the chocolate brownie was a melt-in-your-mouth explosion of cocoa. We were the only ones who had made a reservation, but I suppose that's not unusual between Christmas and New Year. I will definitely be back!

This restaurant is located in a quiet area and absolutely deserves five stars for their hospitality. They kindly offered to store some of our bikes (we were a group of seven) in their storage space, which was great for our safety and provided more space for other customers wanting to enjoy the terrace. The dining area is more spacious and has recently been redecorated. All the dishes our group chose were well presented, although I personally would have appreciated a broader selection of vegetarian options.

Went to the Ibex this evening and had a lovely dinner, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing , would highly recommend the Ibex, lovely quiet location with a great atmosphere

We stayed here for one night and wished it could have been longer. Nathan and his staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed. The breakfast was excellent and it was all extremely good value for money. We also enjoyed a very good evening meal at The Ibex, washed down with a good pint of beer.

Thanks to Nathan, Gavin the crew for such a wonderful Sunday lunch. The food was exceptional! Great service
