Mcdonald's - Newburyport

The usual McDonald's drive through experience. Got what I expected in a reasonable time. Can't expect much more than

Stopped to grab a quick bite on the way to the airport. Located pretty close to the interstate.

Is McFlurry not supposed to be mixed now? I got mine with just Oreo sitting on top. That’s just vanilla ice cream with oreo crunches. When I asked they waiter looked at me as if I was crazy. They eventually mixed it for me. I just got a mixed McFlurry yesterday from another McDonald’s too.

I’m slack-jawed… this is the best McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. The best Filet of Fish I’ve ever had (tastes like actual fish, hot all the way through, sauce and cheese evenly distributed….amazing! . If these are the same ingredients every McD’s uses, how do the other locations manage to output such reliable mediocrity and disappointment? The drive-thru service was incredible. The speaker/microphone made ordering and communications super easy. The teller basically read our minds, and wasn’t confused by the request for no sugar in the iced coffee, which is also relatively one of the best from McDonald’s. Not sure how they do what they do, but wanted to leave a review if only to remember which location this was upon visiting New England again.

They’re the only McDonald’s the doesn’t allow you to buy an additional happy meal toy. The same manger, she just keeps telling us the owner doesn’t allow it.
