Nu Kitchen Newburyport

I absolutely love this restaurant! Since moving to Newburyport a month ago, I've visited twice and plan to go back time and again. The veggie burger was fantastic, and I really enjoyed the edamame dumplings. I highly recommend the Buddha bowl as well. The smoothies are also excellent. Everything is incredibly fresh, and the service is outstanding.

What a delightful surprise to discover a restaurant with healthy options! I tried the Buddha bowl, which was packed with brown rice, quinoa, mushrooms, sweet potato, spinach, carrots, avocado, scallions, and topped with a delicious garlic ginger sauce. It's one of their few "super greens" bowls. They also offer a variety of burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, paninis, and more, so be sure to explore their menu. There are plenty of vegan and vegetarian choices available. Plus, their coffee is fantastic! I ended up buying a bag and they even kindly ground the beans for me.

This was a pretty good find for people wanting veg and non-veg options. I ordered a tofu bahn mi and they served me a pork one. Good thing I always check the food before I dig in. When I took the plate back the server apologized and said they'd make a new one. The sandwich was pretty good. I like spicy but this was actually too spicy for me- I had to take off the bun that had the spice on it. I also had the cucumber salad on the side and they were just as spicy. Check your

The food was truly inedible. I ordered a vegan protein bowl, and they didn't even mix the protein into it! Talk about laziness. It tasted like sawdust—totally flavorless. My friend and I found it so unappetizing that we had to throw it away. It was honestly an insult to acai bowls!

Everything was delicious. The short rib was perfect. Good prices. Huge salad portions for the price. Lots of seating. Friendly staff. All food can be gluten free. Dressings are all vegan and gluten free.
