A dedicated, extensive vegan menu was absolutely welcome. Care with food preparation was left unattended as my food was badly presented and burned

I have tried the Nags vegan menu since I learned from him, it's great to see more Newy places really upping their game! The previous reviews published here have outdated menus, so I think that the menu may be seasonal. I was disappointed that the Nachos and some other dishes were not available. I had the vegan bruschetta entree size) and the vegan schnitzel w/ king avo topper. The order with the QR code on the table was confusing as the online vegan menu was incompatible with its descriptions and "vg" labelling. For example the standard bruschetta $12) and the vegan bruschetta $14) both had the exact same description listing cream feta and a "v" for vegetarian labelling. For such an extensive vegan menu I expected that they might use a nut-based cheese or the like, but instead it came out with avocado. When I wanted to decide whether the parmi cup or the king avot for my vegan scavenger, I saw the standard scavenger to get the description of the cups to inform my choice. Also the vegan version was not what I expected and I felt a little underwhelmed, so I asked the staff for more finishing sauce that made them happy at no extra cost. The steamed vegetables were boiled, but it doesn't matter to me to go on the raw side. Chips were good. From curiosity, I took out the physical vegan menu after my meal, and both dishes were 100% as described on it. I recommend using the physical vegan menu for your choices and order from the counter. No photos of the courts I ordered, unfortunately. I was too hungry. Very generous portions but, very typical pub bistro served and prices. Updated by previous review on 2021-12-01

Pleasantly surprised by the selection of vegan options. There is a dedicated vegan menu with more than many options to choose from. Fries with Vegan Wedges with vegan sour cream garlic bread Pizza Vegan nachos Vegan Aubergine schnitzel Vegan Pizza And much more!!! I had the vegan eggplant carving and loved it! The page said might have been a bit more interesting, but the only suggestion I have. My husband disappeared his vegan nachos. And my two children loved their fries with veganaise. Thanks for having such a wonderful menu. If we're ever back, we'll be back!!
