Lymedale Grill Bar Restaurant

After hearing great reviews, we finally decided to visit The Lymedale and we were not let down! The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the surroundings were lovely. We will definitely be returning.

I recently had a wonderful Sunday late lunch at this restaurant. The roast beef and other dishes were all delicious with very generous portions. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance was lovely. I will definitely be returning in the future as I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

We went for Sunday lunch today and had never been there before. The decor was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and nicely decorated for Christmas. The food was delicious and all of us had different meals. My turkey was moist and flavorful, I cleaned my plate! The desserts were also delicious. The staff were very friendly and happy to chat. Thank you to everyone, we hope to come back soon.

Lymdale put on the most amazing buffet for us .as a school we were celebrating the retirement of a much loved member of staff.food was excellent accommodating special diets including gluten free.service was very friendly and the reserved area was excellent. Highly recommended

I’ve visited the Lymedale bar twice now and I think it’s one of the best restaurants in town, a real hidden gem! You really get your money’s worth here because the food portions are absolutely huge! The beef in the steak and ale pie was beautiful tender with no fat. The crunchie waffle was the highlight for me, I would go back just for this. For just £5.75, you get a huge Belgian waffle, 2 huge scoops of ice cream, loads of squirty cream, lashings of chocolate sauce, a crunchie bar and what seems to be an entire bag of crunchie rocks! I genuinely cannot fault the food in any way! The staff here are extremely welcoming and happy to accommodate you in any way. The place was also decorated beautifully for Halloween. We were the only group here tonight, to my surprise. You should be fully booked every night because of how great you’ve made the place! My only criticism is that the cubicles in the ladies toilets are quite small but that can’t be helped. Great job everyone.
