Amore - Newcastle under Lyme

As a vegan, I often crave the carb-heavy Italian dishes that I miss. However, this restaurant is fantastic! It's run by a large, independent team that truly understands what vegan dining means and how to accommodate it. They offer a separate menu for vegans, but I chose a veggie special without the cheese, and it was delicious. The pesto was amazing and completely dairy-free—truly a delightful dish. The only downside is that there aren’t many gloomy options; just one for now. But I'm hopeful that will change soon—keeping my fingers crossed!

The vegan food here is incredible! The service is exceptionally courteous, and there’s a wide variety of options to choose from, plus a special evening offer every week!

This restaurant offers fantastic vegan options, and Cassie Francesco are incredibly accommodating. You can't beat the Thursday evening deal: just £10 for a pasta dish and a drink (beer, wine, or a soft drink). Although they don’t have vegan parmesan cheese, they are more than happy for you to bring your own! I highly recommend the 'Holly Special' sandwich, which isn’t on the menu but is available at lunchtime. It features crooked, red tweeting, paprika, mushrooms, and rocket, served with a salad and potatoes. It is absolutely incredible! This is truly the best Italian restaurant in the area.
