Blackbird Inn - Newcastle upon Tyne

This is a lovely restaurant to visit. There is ample parking available. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist us. They were very polite. The interior of the pub was spotless, and our food arrived quickly. The quality of the food was excellent and fresh. Definitely worth a visit!

The sides were equally impressive: crispy, perfectly roasted vegetables, and a tasty Yorkshire pudding, though it was slightly overcooked; still, that didn’t stop me from cleaning my plate. The highlight of the sides was the cauliflower cheese, which was topped with a beautifully golden brown crust and swimming in a rich cheese sauce.

This is a really cozy pub with a good atmosphere, the restaurant is beautiful with gluten-free and milk-free menus as well as the main menu. The wine list is good and not eye-catching expensive, there is also a good selection of beers. The staff is very friendly and it is also dog friendly in the bar area, overall a very pleasant experience for a night or a lunch.

Really nice pub. Relaxed and comfortable for a few pints after work. Also great for a celebration dinner night outside. On a week visit to Ponteland and very happy to have found this jewel of a pub, a little about our budget, how would you like to eat there again. Nothing the less we didn't notice when it was so delicious. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Great place.

Great value food. Service was fast, and even though it was busy, didn't take too long for food to arrive. Free parking, but have to register reg number at entrance. Will definitely be back
